After more than 20 years of success, the legendary Italcanna Hexagon returns in its most advanced form – the Hexagon R3. Widely regarded as one of the finest telescopic surfcasting rods ever produced, the R3 represents the very top of Italcanna’s telescopic rod range.

Built using the latest composite material technology, the Hexagon R3 combines IM and HM carbon in epoxy resin with nano-composite fillers, improving strength, reliability and casting performance over the original CarboTitanium construction. The new StarCross carbon butt section provides exceptional power storage and control.

One of the key strengths of the Hexagon R3 is its ability to store almost twice the energy of a traditional high-modulus rod, and transfer that energy efficiently into the cast. This results in excellent distance with smooth, controlled power delivery.
