One of the most important items in any anglers tackle box. Keeps bait on the hook especially soft baits like shrimp, crab and fish. Also used to keep Black lug tight to the hook and to keep Mackerel and squid baits streamlined. When fishing in the U S A with live shrimp I fit elastic around the shrimp to the hook, this keeps the bait on the hook longer than the 3 seconds it normally takes to take the bait. With elastic it fishes twice as long!
