Developed at the request of top angler Rob Tuck (Tucky), the Breakaway Mini Link is designed for those using long continental rods with small eyes. This clever little link lets you quickly connect your rig to your shock leader — ideal for lure and beach anglers who want a reliable quick-change system.
Made from heat-treated stainless steel, the Mini Link is incredibly tough, with a 20lb test strength, and is half the size of a standard Spinlink. Despite its size, it’s strong enough to handle 3–4oz leads and casts beyond 150 yards.

I’ve been using the spinlinks for attaching large flies for Tarpon etc. Rather than having to cut knots when changing flies and reducing the rubbing leader length these links are great and the main advantage is that you can change flies really quickly. We’ve caught a lot of Tarpon using these!
Secretly we were wishing for a less conspicuous link and here it is the Mini Link! We’re going fishing in the Bahamas in April/May and will give them a try-out to see if they are 25lb strong.
